Cool concept.
However, the mouse controls are impossible on a laptop touchpad; you can't move and shoot simultaneously, which seems to be a prerequisite for survival.
Rework the coding, and you'll have a fun little timewaster.

Ouch, never thought about touchpad.
Bow gameplay is specific, not sure how to implement touchpad into it.
If I insert keyboard button for shooting, it will be very awkward keyboard/mouse combination. :(

I'm an experienced guitarist,

and I think that while you've got a good idea here, it could use some work.
For example, when playing a D (on a real guitar), you have to mute the low E string.
Your gadget doesn't do that, so you end up with a D/E clash if you play all the strings together, which sounds kind of gross.
So, just needs some work to be better.
Good job on getting this much done, though; you've more patience than I.
