Nice cover, bro.

Do you mind if I attempt to throw the vocal on this thing?

Scorp666 responds:

Go nuts, would LOVE to hear it!

I think you miscategorized this one, man...

You'd probably be better off putting this in Miscellaneous.

fiddler2b responds:

its got lead rythm and drums, and a solo, so It at least has to be rock.

Dude...

Total asskickery.
If you want, you could send me your high vocal, and I'll put a really low brutal death metal under it.
Yours is good, I just want to see how I compare. =p
Excellent, excellent, excellent.

Can do, my friend.\m/

Nice, man.

I like the new tone. It's pretty brutal. A little on the bassy side, but that's okay.
I think if you could keep most of the brutality, but leave a little more room for the bass guitar, then it would be an improvement.
However, that's not a huge issue, just a preference thing mostly.
Only real problem I can hear is a distinct lack of cymbals.
They're really quiet, almost unhearable.
Bass, toms and snare are plenty loud, though, so it shouldn't take too much effort to crank up the cymbals a bit.
Honestly, you make me jealous. You seriously need to tell me how you got that sound, because it's awesome.
Keep up the excellent work, amigo.

FarCryDX responds:

Thanks bro. The cymbals are an issue... heres why.

The drums sound clear and crisp because I lowered the room setting to like almost nothing. sadly this also makes the cymbals quieter, so i had to compromise between good drum sound and cymbals being louder. i chose good drum sound :3

Awesome.

I just had a thought:
This would make a good companion song to The Origin of Disease, if you change one letter in the title.
The Origin of Disease and Viral Scourge. I like the sound of that.
I like the song too. Asskickery abounds.

MindOverMatt responds:

Damn, not a bad idea! Didn't think of that. Can't wait to hear some vocals my friend. And thank you so much for the supportive review. But yeah, I'd love to hear what you could do to this. Stay in touch, stay metal.

This isn't normally my kind of music...

But I accidentally clicked on Indie instead of Heavy Metal.
I was going to hit back, but I let it load, and lo and behold, your name pops up on the #6 song.
So I figured I'd give it a listen, and I really like it.
It's not annoyingly electronic, but it's not completely organic either.
It strikes a comfortable blend, without being overbearing.
I think a really echoey, spacey vocal track would be the icing on the cake, but it's perfectly awesome as-is.
Kudos.

LLAAPPSSEE responds:

Ah, a beautiful accident, aye?

Thats cool you had a listen to it. I'm glad you liked too. Thats what i was going for, a half and half sort of vibe. Organic with electronic. I've been doing that a lot more lately too. When i made the track me and my friend on guitar thought about vocals, but we never did get around to it. I'm glad you liked, and thanks for a review that actually had some words to it : D

Wrong tuning, lawl.

Seriously, though, this is an awesome cover.
I like the original a lot, but you've definitely done the song justice.

Awesome, man. I don't have to do vocals now. =p
Seriously, your vox are getting much better.

Hahaha. I was thinking ive got to do it because i love it. I do lower vocals better, this is the first time ive ever tried this style haha. Cheerrrss!!

The triumphant return of the Bad Man.

I liked the riffs, and the drums weren't as bad as some of the other guys made them out to be (at least to me, anyway).
The only problems I have with the drums are: the kick being too low in the mix, and while I actually like the kinda bassy snare sound, it's a bit too loud.
I think the main problem is the rather thin guitar sound.
It's very possible that a meatier, thicker guitar sound will balance out the drums, but that is just my opinion.
Overall, an excellent preview of the destruction to come.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

All these things have been fixed in the final music. The only thing really lacking is bass. I could pitch shift some guitar, I suppose...but I have to fuck around too much with that...haha.
I switched out the snare completely,(I thought it sounded too Metallica ish St.Angery garbage canny) upped the kick, which was delicate to do, cause of the double kicks, section. haha. It would clip there, but be too quiet everywhere else. So figured that shit out.
I've got Elfofchaos working on some vokills, and just gotta get a solo in there. Got a couple of awesome doods trying some shit out for me, on that too...soo...in the end...should be badass as fuck. Thanks for your review man!\m/

Excellent.

This is a badass piece of molten metal, here.
I do have a problem, but it's nothing that can't be remedied.
And that problem is, while the kick sounds hella awesome, it's also a little too loud.
My suggestion is to either turn it down a bit, or lower the bass-end EQ, so that it doesn't hit quite so hard.
That all I've got, man. Hell of awesome shit, this.

Creeping-Dan responds:

Aye man, ive been remixed the drums for an EP im working on and ive turned it down. The snare on it is sounding lovely :D

Cheers mate.

I'm a dude. I play guitar. I am metal to the core. Don't try to over-metal me. You will be annihilated.
