Man...

I want your vibrato.
I want it so hard.
I counted off one star for the production; clean that up, and this would be nearly perfect.
METAL FOREVER!!!

XxCRUCIFIEDxX responds:

I do suc at mixing at times. But I'm working on it. vabrato comes with lots of repetition. Your voice is rockin already so just keep it up and you will have it down sooner than you know.
Thanks for the review bro!!!

\m/ HAIL! \m/

One word: Gizmachi.

Gizmachi is a totally shite band I happened across on Myspace, and the dude only put one riff into a 5 minute song. Fucking lame.
Due to you being the greatest guitarist on Newgrounds, I cannot say anything bad about this.
Metal forever, hail Satan, etc, etc.

CockRider responds:

Haha, thanks man, I really am the most awesome guitarist on Newgrounds, this song proves it!

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Again...

see previous review.
Awesome vision, excellent progressions... just lacks that feel.
Let me know if you want to double-team these beyotches.

HarvestThrone responds:

Thanks lol. I definitely agree it needs the tone of a real guitar. Again, I'll contact you when I'm done, though for both if these I might actually be longer. I have to remember what I wrote since I can't save on the demo version of my program and go back to it later -_-

My opinion...

is that you rewrite it, but only do the parts that aren't guitar, and send me the .mp3 and transcription of the guitar parts, and let me play the guitar parts.
I love this song, and I think it has huge potential, but it needs some real guitar, and maybe better sounding drum samples. With those elements added, this would be an absolute killer.
That said, I understand if you don't want to let me put my grubby paws all over your awesome shit, but I think it would be that much more awesome with real guitar.
That's my opinion, take it or leave it, but this is awesome either way.
Major kudos.

HarvestThrone responds:

Oh damn...really?! O_O Actually that would be great, and I fully agree. The guitar samples on FL sound horrible compared to an actual guitar, and the drum samples sound better once you've learned how to EQ them and change all the pitches of the toms and the snare. Thanks for the review!! And I will most likely be re-writing it soon. I'll get in touch with you when I'm done remaking it, though it may be another week or two before I do.

Shit.

Now I have to redo my vocals, lawl.
Not really, I kept them. I'll probably end up redoing them anyway though, they kinda sucked.
Anyway, sounds like all the problems I had were fixed.
Awesome job, bro, and I'm looking forward to our other project.
Speaking of which, what happened to that?

Nicholls responds:

Yes Bro!!!!!

Hell yea lets do another project.... just dont let me do the drums...... there shit lol....
Hows 94 hours going?

Not bad, dude.

I think it could have been a little faster, maybe 10 BPM, but that's probably just me.
I'm used to listening to the Megadeth version, lawl.
The bass sounds pretty good, but it could use a little compression, some notes are quite a bit louder than others.
I don't much like the way the drums sound, either; the bass isn't loud enough and the samples just sound thin and wimpy.
But that's something that's pretty easily remedied, so I didn't count off for that.
Overall, it's a good cover of a legendary song.
Kudos.

metalhead884 responds:

Was it the snare? I thought it was too loud and annoying, but I submitted it to see if anyone else had anything similar or different to say, thanks for the feedback! As for the speed, I went by the actual song and played it at that speed. The "thin and whimpy" is a damn good example of "too digital." I used Gear Box for the guitar, which is why it sounds like shit, too bad I found out too late after I bought the damn thing. Nice to know someone has a good ear out there.

Ahhh....

That's better.
I can hear myself think now.
And I'm thinking...
Vocals.
Yes, indeedy.

Nicholls responds:

Hell Yea Bro!!!!!

I may rerecord the guitars lol, plus i just noticed that the drums overpower everything a bit lol!!!

AH WELL

Hmmm...

My guess is Dimebag Darrell.

Devastus responds:

Nah, even though he's definitely something that took a hit on the direction of the whole metal genre.

Thanks for your review.

Holy. Fuck.

Damn, dude.
I really need to get some Death albums, because this song kicks royal ass.
That said, the recording needs some work.
Mainly, the bass kinda gets lost in the mix.
Crank that mofo up, I want to feel it in my balls.
Besides that, you've got an awesome instrumental here.
Now, all I have to do is learn the lyrics and try to rip Chuck's style...
Or maybe I'll do it in my own...hmm...
Anyway, badass work, bro.
Can't wait to get started.

Creeping-Dan responds:

Methulll dude. Yeh ive sorted my drum problem now. Not with this. See my computer has 1GB left on it so i have to throw away all the masters n stuff haha. Im gonna buy an external hard drive to keep it all dont though.

Dooder...

I may have commited a cardinal sin of metal by...*gasp* never having listened to this band.
That said, it would be a while before I could get to where I could listen to the original, then record vox, because I'm visiting relatives out-of-state, and am going to be here until Sunday.
So I probably can't get on board this one, but I look forward to hearing it and joining in on the next one.
(Maybe a Megadeth song... High Speed Dirt, anyone?)
METAL FOREVER!!!

Eternalreich responds:

No prob dude i just thought you have the closest voice to Walker that ive heard so far.

Hails

I'm a dude. I play guitar. I am metal to the core. Don't try to over-metal me. You will be annihilated.
