Hmmm....

Great angry feel.
A few complaints, though.
1) Vocals are horribly clipped out. Work on the balancing.
2) Drums are a bit too weak. Especially the bass. The snare sounds okay, though.
The vocals themselves are awesome, it's just the clipping...*shudder*
Other than that, no real complaints.
Great work.

CyriltheWolf responds:

Maybe we used too much distortion. It's not clipping, but maybe they could be down a little bit. *shrug*

I dunno, I didn't think the drums were too week. 'specially on my headphones. But anyway, thanks. :D

Soo....

Whose album did you rip this song off of?
I'm trying to find it, but it must be a fairly indie band, because I can't get their lyrics on Google.
Anyway, expect this to be taken care of soon.

XxTATERTHOOTHXx responds:

I Just put loop because in case someone hears something similar

Hell yeah!

This one got me headbanging.
Some improvements could definitely be made though...
1) The annoying 'womp's when you mute the strings during stops.
I suggest using at least two fingers to stop the strings, put them down at the 2nd and 6th frets, to avoid accidental harmonics from ringing.
2) Some of the notes during the harmonized sections are out of key, and don't harmonize properly, especially during the bends.
Great riffs, drums could use a bit of level adjustment (it seems to me like the snare and cymbals could come up just a tiny bit), needs vocals.
Overall a great tune, keep them coming.

Schecterguitarist responds:

Yeah, the bends are definately off at some points. but the harmonized solo at the end, i dunno if you were talking about that, but it wasnt necissarily meant to harmonize perfectly, just kind of work around eachother. As for the womps... damn womps. Plague of the metal guitarist. but thanks for the tip, il definately try that next time. I use two fingers, but i guess theyre too close together.

Good tone.

I like the way your guitar sounds, what are you recording through?
I'd like to see this as a full song (4 or 5 riffs, harmonized solos would be cool, lyrics, of course...etc, etc.).
I consider myself a semi-decent vocalist, so if you write 'em, I'll sing/scream them, if you'd like.
Awesome work, and welcome to the metal side of the AP.
(I know you're not new, but this is your first really good metal submission, so I thought you could use another welcome.)

Schecterguitarist responds:

Thanks man. I recorded through a Line 6 Toneport, which is basically for people too poor to buy a good mic but still want half-decent tone. i'll definately hit you up if i need some vocals done. I just put up a new one called Primal instincts, so check that out and see if theres any improvement.

Good ideas.

Only gripes:
1) Vocalist is a bit on the 'not-that-great' side. He's okay, but definitely needs to work on his vocals.
2) Solo is horribly, horribly out of key about %70 of the time. Work on that.
Aside from that, it's a pretty cool song. Kind of generic, but hey, that's what sells these days.
Good work.

Excellent shit.

Great tune.
Needs those vocals.
Check out my song, and if you like my voice, I'd be glad to lay the vocal for this, it's a masterpiece.
Keep up the great work.

CWN responds:

I'm sitting in a bummy Seaman's mission, no headphones, so unfortunately I can't listen to your stuff... I'll listen as soon as I'm home!!

Fucking excellent.

The production could still use a bit of work.
Some of the tom hits didn't mesh as well as they could, and the guitar seems like it's just a bit too fuzzy.
I love the vocals, though, you've got a good Corey Taylor sound going, and it's brutal as fuck.
Overall amazing song.
I've actually got a song in my reportiore(sp?) called "Endless Nightmare", but it's working title was "The Anti-Emo"...so my vocalist put the words "Look at you, little bitch, with your hair across your face" as the first line.
Thought I'd share my emo-hating story, lol.

CWN responds:

lol

Slayer, motherfucker!

I prefer Disciple, but this song kicks ass too!
Badass work on the vox, you sound like a mix between Tom Araya and Dave Mustaine, lol.
If I ever cover a Megadeth song, I'll be sure to let you do the vocal.
Fucking METAL!!!

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

haha, thats a weird ass love child...but thanks a hell of a lot.\m/

Awesome.

I'm digging the experimental feel, off-beat drum hits, etc.
Just needs vocals, and maybe a guitar lead somewhere, and this would be a work of fucking art.
Does your band consist of people around your town, or is it an Internet project?

Creeping-Dan responds:

Its both man! Its a band thats an open forum basically.

I'm a dude. I play guitar. I am metal to the core. Don't try to over-metal me. You will be annihilated.
