Good work.

This is a really good piece.
I like that the bass is audible, but the tone isn't quite there...some slight changes would make it stand out as amazing instead of really good.
The riffs are nice and heavy, just the way I like 'em.
The solos, while not outstanding, fit pretty well and are in key, so no gripes there.
All it needs is a vocal. If you can write some lyrics, I'd be glad to lay a vocal track on this beauty.

cowdog2 responds:

thanks for the review man, but I already got someone to do the vocals for it.

and I have to say the bass is actually my favorite part of the song, haha. Oh and yea i know my solo isn't the best, it was pretty slopp-i-licious.

I have one thing to say to you...

Fuck you.
I've spent 4 years teaching myself to play guitar...
I think I'm doing pretty good...
And then you come along and fuck my world up.
God dammit...
Back to the bedroom for me.
Love the song, by the way. Fuckin' metal.

I have an idea...

I think what you have is a condition I call "recording ear".
You're extremely critical of your own work, but everyone else's sounds fine, because you listen to your own work and hear nothing but the flaws, while you don't listen for the flaws in other people's songs.
Don't be so critical of your work, it's fucking badass.
It sounds great, everyone tells you it sounds great...it's great.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

That could be. haha. Thanks man. I swear though, this sounded like hell on my work speakers. haha. Glad you like it, man. Thanks for the words!\m/

Listen, man...

You don't want to post "one take improvs" on here unless they're really good.
And this isn't.
Your tone grates on the nerves, there's no tempo to speak of, lots of sour notes...
I hate to sound like a douche, but this is a very sloppy recording that doesn't even really belong in the Heavy Metal section.
Improve your recording technique, use a metronome, listen back after you get done recording...these things make all the difference.
I can hear the potential, you sound like you're starting to get the grasp of guitar, now all you have to do is improve.
Don't despair, keep on working.
I look forward to hearing your stuff in the future.

Wow...

This got more listens and reviews in 14 hours than my song got in eleven days...
People hate me.
Or they love you a lot.
Yeah, that's probably it.
Lawlz.
Amazing track, love it.

Very Amon Amarth...

Which, of course, is not a bad thing at all.
Good instrumentalism, tone could use a bit of work, though.
Vox sound pretty good.
No glaring flaws, overall.
Keep up the good work.

Bonemill responds:

Its very amon amarth because it is amon amarth hahahaha.

Its a cover.

Awesome...

But I still like Through the Kingdom of Fire better.
I still need to write those lyrics, dammit.
I keep forgetting...

Nicely done...

Guitar solos had a few sour notes.
I know how hard it is to learn Randy solos, though.
Vocal could use a bit of work, just a wee bit shaky.
Overall, great work.

Incredible...

I very rarely give 5/5 and 10/10, but this definitely deserved every bit of it...
Amazing guitar work (slightly muddy as already stated, but recording guitar is a tricky art to master), drums fit perfectly, only problem is the lack of vocals.
Snare gets a bit too loud about 5 mins in.
Do you mind if I write some vocals for this?
I love it, keep 'em coming!

Dude...

Put in some more riffs, make it a good 4 or so minutes long, and I would totally put some vocals over this.
Awesome, awesome, awesome.

I'm a dude. I play guitar. I am metal to the core. Don't try to over-metal me. You will be annihilated.
